An absentminded and flighty young wolf with a habit of daydreaming, Lula has rarely been satisfied with a living arrangement that allows him the freedom he seeks to have. Before, he lived in two packs - one in the grasslands, and one in the desert. Both had trouble accepting him for who he is - born female, but choosing to appear and act more like a male wolf. One day, as a trade caravan from his accomplished desert pack passes by the Sisters, he decides to stay after noticing their unique societal structure and lax rules on gender expression and sexuality.
Isli, who helped guide Willow in her own gender expression, has taken a liking to Lula, and has decided to defend him among the pack (some of whom have been condescending or expressed skepticism to the young trans-male wolf). Since his joining of the pack in Year 2 Summer, he has acted as her assistant in arranging ceremonies - a role that affords him prestige in the pack and few tasks that challenge him. He has proven a quick and powerful convert to the faith of Selene, and ranks among the more devout and spiritual of the pack.
