Lore idea :
With glowing growth ranging from miss to vines, lunar butterflies fluttering around as Crookedstar padded through, making sure not to step on the little critters below. Lunar owls hooting, crickets singing their music and coyotes cackling in the distance. This was the place.
Where many unwanted pups were dumped during the lunar moon where coyotes and other lunar creatures enjoyed their surprise meals. Tonight Crookedstar had to save them— well at least a few with the help of her scout and hunters. Her ears perked, listening to the sound of water flowing down hill, the wind howling with loose leaves that danced within the breeze. No signs of any tiny bundles settled in the overgrowth, turning her tail. Eyes darting back and forth as she reached the sided of the pond. The noisy croaks of frogs warning nearby amphibians of the wolfs arrival. Her eyes roaming the swampy location. Dragonflies glowing, bullfrog's eyes straight intently at the canine, death glares, curious eyes. Taking in a deep breath.
Scents of the wet earthy smell, prey all around— milk-warm whiff. Ears perked, eyes darting back and forth as she followed the scent. Making careful steps.
The faint sound of whelps and whines began to come louder as she approached the reeds large patches of grass. Staring down at a small brown blob that moved at the sound of pawsteps.
This pup had to be no less than 12 weeks, those pitch black eyes that seemed as if you were staring into the nothingness.
Rising her head into the air, her breathe visible in the air as she took a deep breath in before letting out a ringing howl. Loud enough for lunar creatures, monsters and nearby wolves would hear her. Hopefully her pack heard her— getting a better look at the pup, sniffing and removing any foreign smells before picking up the badger pup between her chomps. The stench of it's mother-dog hadn't been wiped off, without Crookedstar. This pup would be bear food.
