Ever seen nice the passing of her mother Karok while she was still a young pup, Kelpie never truly got along with her older sister Nessie. The two she-wolves were almost always at conflict with one another as Nessie more often than not, won the favour of wolves around her. Though feeling overshadowed by her prettier silver sister, Kelpie did however do her best to gain the attention of the Cheiftan through her strength and prowess; which did seem to prod Mosi's observation. Kelpie's closest packmates were the Chieftain's son Percival and Mosi herself, so It was Mosi's best interest to look after the solitary she-wolf. Karok's spirit seems to linger on in the female as they share a distinctive mask over their eyes; red and black respectively. Kelpie finds herself missing her mother deeply on some longer nights, wishing she could see eye to eye with her sister. As Kelpie aged into a yearling, it became clear that somehow she retained Faeclu magic, determined to be a result of her sister leaving her to travel alone in the light infested woods, vulnerable to the tricksters lurking beyond the territory. When the she-wolf eventually returned seemingly unharmed, her body was encased in a cluster of scales. The herbalist Wisteria was quite cross with her older sister, claiming that the young Kelpie would have been able to avoid the cruel tricks of the Faeclu if not for Nessie's negligence. Though her sister has since then made up for the whole ordeal, it is without question Kelpie still thinks about her time spent alone all those seasons ago, when her fur was still untouched. The patchy scales around her body made her even less attractive in her eyes, but she has come to find solace in the lakes and rivers that she can navigate effortlessly now through her gained abilities.
