Larimar was a shy pup in his adolescence, but didn't seem to mind being on his own anyways; not particularly fond of the rough play and athletic games the other young males participated in. Any game he wanted to play always had very precise rules, so the other pups dreaded when the elders told them to let Larimar choose the game. Though he didn't spend much time with the wolves whom he shared a den with, Larimar became very close friends with some of the females from the Swan Feather Butte. He spent much time with Lottie and Billie, as he loved sharing the daily gossip. Because of his talent to know what was going on at almost all times, Mosikayneeuh decided to make him a council member; more specifically a knowledge keeper. Larimar went on to take this new role very seriously, even beginning a new method of recording besides cave paintings, rock carvings and birch bark etching. He started to use the pack Druids' Ogham alphabet to etch onto wooden sticks; keeping piles of these wooden records in the Caraig Gaer pond dens with the elders.
Larimar thoroughly enjoyed recording down the reports from Abalone during his dreamland excursions, and the Lunar envoy ended up taking in the young male as an assistant interpreter to the strange land. Larimar would later help choose the packs' next lunar envoy, Caddisfly. Larimar loved his mother Eleefee intensely, wishing the distractible she-wolf elder were still around to greet him with the morning gossip from the elders' den.
