Melanthera nivea, Snow Squarestem.

Named after the small, dainty white flowers that are so beloved to bees and the shorter-tongued pollinators, Melanthera grew up seeing the beauty of love. From lovers tucked close, sharing warmth and a nest to grand displays with flowers, herbs, and feathers, she found herself fascinated with the concept of love- how it was felt, and how it was shown. With her beautiful coat patched with blues, whites, and reds, Melanthera found herself on the receiving end of suitors' affections, but they mattered not to her, not when there were others waiting for their own performance. When she finally saw Eranthis, the Matchmaker themselves, she knew who and what she wanted to be.

For now, Melanthera is content to work, but perhaps in the future, her heart will be open to receive the very thing she prides herself on delivering to others- the perfect match.
