PUPPYHOOD

From the very moment she opened her eyes, Hope was certain that she wanted to become an herbalist. It just felt natural to her, and she couldn't imagine anything else. As a young pup, she would get injured on purpose, just so that she could visit the herbalist and see how she's working. She was always very quiet, and very rarely, if not never, did she play with the other puppies. There was something special about her. This made some wolves feel uneasy in her company, while others felt sooted by her presence.

PERSONALITY

Hope is a very quiet and clever wolf. Rarely does she ever speak, and when she does, it's because she has nothing better to do. She has a very specific aura which makes some feel relaxed and some feel uneasy around her. She is very responsible, and some say she never stops working. When she's not foraging, she's mixing medicine in her den. She isn't particularly close with anyone in the pack, but she doesn't have any enemies either. Hope doesn't usually have time for her mate or her pups, except if they're hurt. She could probably make time for them, if she wanted to, that is. Some say she has the ability to communicate with spirits and recieve prophecies, but those are just rumours. Or are they?

ROLE AS HERBALIST

Hope takes her role as healer extremely seriously. She barely stops working and when she isn't foraging, she's making medicine. Hope is a reincarnation of a powerful wolf who died a very long time ago. She doesn't have a lot of memories from her past, but she knows that she didn't stay dead for a reason. She has the ability to communicate with spirits, no matter how old or how young they are. The reason she was always so good at herbalism are the spirits, who are constantly whispering in her ear. Though, they aren't the reason she chose the healer's career. She always knew what she was meant to do. She doesn't regret not communicating with her packmates much because she knows that she was born to heal and not to make friends.

INTRODUCTION

You've been walking in the forest for quite a long time. As the rich scent of pinesap fills your nostrils, you settle down to rest for a bit. Just as you close your eyes and fall asleep, you feel something urging you to open them. Something that you can't quite explain. You blink your eyes open and realize that there is a beautiful, mythic looking she-wolf standing infront of you. You blink again just to be sure that you aren't dreaming, and you're not. She looks at you expectantly. "Can I help you?.." You ask hesitantly. The wolf looks at you impatiently, and you aren't exactly sure why. Finally, she sighs. "Yes, get up! Can't you see that you're blocking a bush full of juniper berries?" Your eyes widen and you jump to your paws. Sure enough, there's a fully stocked bush right behind you. You didn't even notice! You move out of the way and begin to apologise, but the herbalist dismisses you with a flick of her tail and begins gathering.
