This wolf is immortal! It will never age or die. It cannot be bred or used in roles, or retired into. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.

Named after Scylla, who along with her counterpart Charybdis, terrorised the Strait of Messina in Homer's Odyssey, and Calliope, the Muse that presided over eloquence and epic poetry, Chief of All Muses.
The little twins emerged from the stalks and shears of Demeter, fully formed, bound forever. In place of their second hind leg lay a tangle of bone and muscle that would never part, and even before Scylle and Calliope knew they had a mother from the gods and all other things puppies learned, they knew this.
This did not change their lives much, once they realised that they had been gifted immortality through their divine birth, the ability to go on despite their otherwise lethal mutation. Flowers and clovers bloomed on their tiny tufts of fur, heralding to anyone who saw them that they were divine, and such they were allowed to thrive and develop.
Scylle, to her frustration, could not make plants grow no matter how hard she tried, yet her small songs when her sister fell asleep seemed to always bring animals eager to listen. For Calliope, she bayed and whined at the top of her lungs, but could only send her sister wincing - even the plants cowed from her side. Still, those plants came right back to life, even blooming harder, once she quieted and began to nurture them.
The solution seemed easy - Scylle should have taken over her sister's passion and Calliope should have done the same - but, as the world was soon to understand, the twins had minds of their own, despite being forever joined. In some ways, it was meant to be like this: two sisters at odds with each other, never alone, against the world.
