Duskpup

Born at the edge of winter to a traveler known as The Nomad, Duskpup and her brothers grew up in Autumnfall with a number of other puppies. Their mother, once they'd weened, joined the hunting teams and led the youngest hunters in helping to keep the pack fed for the winter, while Dusk and her brothers played and learned from their pupsitters. In the spring, however, their mother became restless. She eventually asked her pups if they would wish to travel the world with her, or if they preferred to stay in the pack. Duskpup quickly said she didn't want to leave, this place, this pack, it was her home! How could anyone want to leave their home? But she watched, wondering if she'd chosen wrong, as her mother and brother left one warm spring morning.
