Mother of
Painted Dawn and adopted mother of
Wisteria and
Sarge.
Nimbus didn't really have much change in her day to day life. As the herbalist of the Garden of the Gods, her duties were simple: keep the pack alive and healthy with her skills in medicine, and make sure said medicines never ran out of stock. Her daily routine didn't change, even in the wake of illness and even tragic death. It all boiled down to the same thing: keep the pack alive.
Then, things changed. A traveler by the name of
Cottonfeather arrived at the Garden of the Gods, and began stopping by to bother her about the locations of this or that flower. Nimbus humored him enough to send him off on his latest acquisition, but had no interest beyond that. What Cottonfeather did on his own time was his business, and Nimbus had hers.
And yet. Over the course of time, their exchanges slowly progressed from stilted and awkward to just another part of their day, with both wolves even coming to look forward to each other's company. What started as a mere inquiry for information slowly became something more, until the day both wolves surprised the pack by asking to be pairbonded before Leto. And while Nimbus knows deep down that Cottonfeather has a duty to his pack, and will have to return one day, she's determined to spend as much time with her love as she can before duty calls him away from his bonded love and family.
Aleph asks Nimbus how she's doing today. She simply shrugs and turns away.
Nimbus takes stock, murmuring to herself about what herbs are needed, only halfway paying attention to her god before she leaves.
When Aleph talks to Nimbus he always feels as if she is focused on something else. The God of Groves is caught off guard when Nimbus offers him a gift, mentioning that she prefers giving gifts over useless chit-chat.
Nimbus simply nods silently when Aleph approaches her. His presence isn't unwanted, but the God of Groves doesn't really feel any connection.
