Clair was born into a ruthless Pack, and if she wasn't the daughter of the Alpha, she wouldn't have lasted as long as she did. The Pack pushed her far, and she loathed them. Her only link there was her mother, who was free to leave, but she was deeply in love with Clair's father, and hope that he'd changed pushed her forward.
One day, Clair's mother hit cold reality when she fell ill. And Clair's father did nothing.
Clair's mother died soon after, and Clair fled her father's cold pack.

Clair has insecurities that she may be like him at times, but hunting keeps her mind off of them. It took a bit of persuading, but Clair joined the Night Stalkers,, under the leadership of Giovanna, and eventually, Alasdair as well. She isn't particularly interested in a litter of Cubs, but perhaps that could change one day. She was one of the original members.
