As the alpha's first child, naturally, Mulak had to be named for the favorite prey of all wolves: the elk. Mulak came into the world during the pack's first winter, and to make the odds of her survival worse, she was the smallest and weakest pup. Kulshan feared her whole litter would die, but to her surprise, the runt was the only one to survive.
Mulak grew up spoiled. Other pups let her win every play-fight. The adults gave her every scrap of prey she asked for. The pack's whole undivided attention was given to her. As a result, she was very conceited and vain. She boasted that Lamotay, the only male pup her age, was to be her mate, and followed him around all of the time. She bullied the other girls, and when they did not respect her wishes, she would do everything in her little power to make sure they did not succeed in their goals. She was very much a little tyrant.
She became more aware of her situation when Lamotay finally rejected her advances, and became mates with another. Mulak realized that her friendships were based in fear, rather than actually being sincere. At this point, she decided she needed to become a better individual, and become more respected, like her mother. Mulak became a hunter, and would spend every waking moment trying to bond with her team.
Currently, Mulak is less feared and more respected by her packmates. As the current heir, she still works all of the time to improve her relationships with others, and is becoming a better hunter. She doesn't believe she has time for a mate, and prefers to keep company with her good friends, Itswet and Nawits.
