When she returned her paws were covered in blood and she had a claw missing so Sugar managed to heal her wary paws and replace her missing claw with that of an owl tallon

Lore: The pups of the Spirit Dwellers pack found Yanagi not far from their training grounds. They were super excited to meet a new wolf. They demanded to know her name and wouldn't stop asking her questions the whole time they lead her back to their pack dens. Many of the pups could not pronounce Yanagi's name, so she told them to call her Yani, which seemed to be much easier for the young ones. The rest of the pack welcomed Yani and she spent her time telling stories to the pups. When it came time for Yani to leave, the pups gave her a gift they had made from herbs they had found during their lessons. Yani accepted thankfully and said her goodbyes.
