The Lone survivor from an attack led by the packs beta "Aphrodite", she with her mate Isaac attacked and killed 5 of Jörmungandr's siblings; by the time Rei had arrived it was already to late to save them, and so she fought both wolves but was severely wounded in the fight, having been on her last breath she requested mercy for her pup in exchange that she would step down as Alpha once he had been weaned. Over the next few months she grew weaker. Leaving the pup defenseless against Aphrodites pups. Jörmungandr Stayed strong in the face of adversity, and vowed to have his revenge against the new leader of the pack. However Rei had saw the look in the pups eyes, and told him "this is our way, only the strong will survive, once you are old enough leave the pack and don't look back, as you are now you will only get yourself killed if you try and fight them." He listened to her and sighed knowing she was right, he stayed beside his mother for as long as he could, before she took her final breath.As he grew the urge to travel became unbearable He makes up his mind to leave once he's become an adolescent.
