This wolf has a mutation or secondary mutation that causes blindness! Unfortunately, she can never lead the pack, participate in training, become an apprentice or perform a role. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.
When Bluejay was born, she was heavily loved by all her family. She spent her newborn days dragging herself across the nursery with her wobbly puppy legs and woofing playfully, and the whole pack was overjoyed to have such a wonderful pup. However, when Bluejay opened her eyes, that all changed. At first, nobody realized anything was wrong, but as she grew wolves began noticing her lack of direction, and how she would often bump into logs, bushes, and other wolves. It soon became concerning, and Bluejay's mother eventually carried her to the Herbalist to find out what was wrong. The Herbalist came to the unfortunate conclusion that Bluejay had cataracts, and was almost fully blind. Bluejay's mother was in dismay. The pack that Bluejay was born into valued its members, and trained them all to be valuable hunters and fighters. The pack had no room for wolves that could not hunt or fight, and because of Bluejay's cataracts, she was useless to the pack.
As soon as Bluejay was weaned, her pack transported her to the Crossroads, and led her down a path to the Trading Center. Bluejay was put up for sale at such a young age, and hadn't fully realized what was happening. After some days of waiting, a pack leader by the name of Pebble, purchased her for a cheap price. Bluejay found herself curled in a den of the Feather Tribe, where she would spend the rest of her days. Since she had cataracts, she could not perform normal duties, but instead helped care for pups and sick wolves in the camp. Bluejay had finally found a place, and vowed she would help any other wolves with a similar story to hers.
