Mace

"A haze...everything is a blur..."

There's not much to Mace before he was given his name by the Crystal Canopy pack, and he's perfectly okay with that.

All he knows is the weak state he was left in and how he was found by Ghost and Silverhusk while they were on a hunting patrol. He was only a young pup, but the two males could see how hurt and scared he was. Ghost's fatherly instincts kicked in and picked up Mace by the scuff, who was undeniably too big for a pup his age to be carried around like that. However, it was their only choice as he was unable to stand by himself. No prey was abled to be gathered that day but the pack was understanding and more than happy to pitch in to help heal the neglected pup back to health.

Mace was super friendly and easy to get along with as soon as he reached consciousness again. It saddened Lead Wolf Alari to see him so full of joy and bursting with young energy, considering the strong possibility that he was abandoned by his mother and/or pack due to his abnormally large size to take care of. She made sure to provide Mace with all the tools and resources to grow into his full potential. He was always being fed first along with her pups Pepper and Honey, as well as being played with as if he were her own son.

Ghost was an amazing father figure to him as well. He spent the most time with him out of anyone in the pack. The more Mace grew older, the more he came to appreciate everything Ghost had did for him. It didn't matter to him if they weren't blood related or smelled anything like his family, that was his dad and nobody could tell him otherwise, this was his home.

"Why mourn over somebody I never knew? I think that's silly especially since what I have right in front of me is everything I'll ever need."
