Bat

Personality

Bat is studious and dedicated. When she isn't hunting, you can often find her curled up in her den, surrounded by scrolls and small vials of blood. Orion sometimes pictures her in the little glasses the studious humans of his youth wore, and chuckles.
Her parents are proud of her, but sometimes they worry that she's too studious. Vampire often asks her if she has any time to make friends, and her pestering has gotten increasingly irritating to Bat. She loves her mother, but sometimes she'd like to be left alone.

Backstory

Bat was one of Orion and Vampire's first two children. Though she inherited her father's black coat, she took after her mother the most. From the moment she was old enough to train, she wanted to be a hunter. She listened dutifully to Lightning during every lesson. When she was old enough to go on hunts, she poured all her focus into keeping up with the adults.
When she grew up, she finally got her wish. The rush of her first real hunt, front-and-centre of the action, was unbeatable. She has remained a chaser in Earthshine's first hunting team ever since.
As Vampire's daughter, she has also been learning Blood magic. She takes the rituals very seriously.
