PUPPYHOOD

Anser was left at the enclave at a very young age, for reasons that he did not understand. He spent a great amount of his youth there, so naturally, when the Alpha of a powerful pack came to adopt him herself, he was excited. He tought that he would finally have a real family. One that would cherish and appreciate him. However, he was disappointed when when he realized that as an Alpha, Fallow was almost always, if not always, busy. Though he enjoyed hanging out with his adoptive father, Auvqi, he still felt the need to impress Fallow. And so, he decided that he would. - He would work harder than anyone else. He would always bring back the best prey, he would always be the fastest, the strongest, the best. He would do whatever it takes.

PERSONALITY

Anser is a cold, dutiful wolf who doesn't talk much. He will answer if you ask him something and he is open to conversation if he needs to be, but he doesn't like it. The only wolf he was focused on impressing was his adoptive mother, Fallow, though he seemed to enjoy spending time with Auvqi too. When the two died, he completely shut himself off from the rest of the pack. Some tried to comfort him, but it was no use. He pushed everyone away. All of his friends, all parts of his adoptive family. He feels useless now. He tried his best to impress his mother, but somehow, it wasn't enough. He couldn't make her love him. He failed, and he resents himself for that.

ROLE AS FINISHER

What he focuses on now, is being a good finisher, mostly because it helps him keep his mind off of his failiure. He takes his emotions out on his prey, which sometimes results in him losing. But that never stops him. The strong emotions building up inside him help him be powerful, and that's his only consolation. He looks at the sky, wondering if Fallow is watching, and if she is, is she finally proud of him. He also thinks about his father. He was always kind to him, but he was too focused on impressing the arrogant Alpha that they weren't as close as they could have been. Anser feels as if he's wasted his youth.

INTRODUCTION

You feel the cold weather laughing at you as you make your way through the snowy mountains. Suddenly, you spot a figure in the distance. It seems to have a thick coat, and you decide to ask it for help. The wolf seems to have noticed you too, but made no effort to get closer. You sigh in relief as you finally reach him. "Hey there, sorry to be a bother but my fur is too short for this kind of weather. Could you help me?" You ask. To your surprise, the wolf just growls, neck fur standing upwards. He seems to think for a second, then he rolls his eyes and sighs. "There's a cave you can hide in until the storm is over. Goodbye." Before you can begin to thank him, the wolf takes off in a different direction.
