After a bitter argument with his father, the leader of the Beartooth Mountain Pack, Heiye left with his best friend Neren in tow. After scouting out a den near the mountains for shelter, he slowly began to meet and invite new wolves, growing his newfound pack. As his pack grew, his territory shrank; after several aggressive encounters with his fathers' scouts, he decided to move his now 30-wolf-strong pack to the Taiga, where they found bountiful shelter, water, and prey.

Spiderdawn (nee Senisea) is one of his heirs, born to a pack member Aida, who left a while back. Senisea left to a smaller Beartooth Mountain pack, the Turtle Pack.
Pequa, another heir of Heiye's born to Chava, has also had pups, granting him a granddaughter, Lusaz.
Mayen gave birth to a direct heir, Heiyun, and a daughter, Tirsea.
Heiye pairbonded to Amian and has had one pup, Chiro.
