🎯Rend

Third born of three pups, two friendly, one aggressive (this pup). Two male, one female.

Rend, like Ajur, was not the easiest woof to get along with, but Rend was dedicated. As Hover's senior, Rend did what they could to guide Hover through life. Rend was also the one to convince Hover to request vocational reassignment.

With his flamboyant coat, Rend relied upon any and all forms of cover not to alert foe or prey of their team's advance. Due to this and Rend's curt barks, they were an excellent mentor for new recruits. Rend took their responsibilities very seriously.

As they tromped along between the dens of the Collective one day, the question of succession was risen. Rend had given only passing thought to breeding. The entire Collective was gathered before Rend, Inkling, and a few other promising wolves. Inkling wanted an ambassador position of sorts to be filled, and Rend looked mighty fine. They shook imaginary dust from their shoulders as the whole Collective measured, gazed, took notes, and found Rend to be best suited. Rend did not have to waste any more thoughts on pups, and went back to tracking caribou.

Puppy Training"During the lesson: 🎯Silverstep gave Oki and Wow a series of tasks that could be completed only through cooperation. It was hard, but they got it done!"

"During the lesson: Silverstep 2 tried to mix her first medicine. 🎯Silverstep made sure that it would be harmless even in the case of a huge mistake, but Silverstep 2 did really well without any help."

"During the lesson: 🎯Silverstep rolled the toy in deceptive scents today - dung, dead fish and even an ant hill! *Silverstep 3 had to focus really hard to separate multiple scents entangled together to find the toy."

"During the lesson: The carcass was tied to the tree today. Silverstep 2 had to grab onto it and with gravity's help, tear it apart with a shearing technique!"

"During the lesson: Today's lesson looked like a day full of play and fun, but 🐾Glide carefully observed relations between all the pups which included their likes, dislikes, and personalities. Silverstep 1 didn't seem to be problematic."

"During the lesson: 🐾Sepna observed Silverstep 2 carefully and made sure that she stayed focused on scents and landmarks, but it was really hard when everything that was just a few steps away from the den was unknown."
