Conan was born into a pack of wolves that lived in the dense forests of the Canadian Rockies. From an early age, he showed a fierce and selfish nature that set him apart from the other wolves in the pack. Even as a pup, he was known to be aggressive and unyielding in his pursuit of prey, often pushing his siblings out of the way to claim the choicest pieces of meat.
As he got older, Conan's old pack couldn't take his selfish nature; he would always start fights with the other wolves over which prey he wanted to hunt or what part of meat he wanted. These constant fights eventually led his pack leader to kick him out of their territory.
Conan, now out of the pack, started to wander around the forests until he decided to rest by a tree, and when he awoke, a male wolf was nudging his side. Conan was confused at first but started to growl at the wolf, who introduced himself as Rover, a pack leader, and told Conan that he was in his territory, but instead of fighting Conan, he was invited to the pack instead.
