Foxine never had much patience. It was not that she was impatient, more like her tolerance for ruffian behavior was lacking. As such, Foxine was an excellent enforcer for Rend, who spent much of his time with his nose buried under leaf litter and other debris in order to track the caribou.

Foxine had a fondness for hare. When training new recruits, as they often were, she tried her utmost to convince Rend to seek them amongst prey-scent. That usually took the form of finding a big enough stick and removing the bark for Rend. Foxine did not understand the necessity of refinement or even the use of the tool, but as it was to negotiate for favored hunting targets, the exercise proved successful.
