Third born of four aggressive pups. Three male, one female. This one kept for several markings as well as the eyes and base coat. [Well done, Glide!]

[Alters for breeding to Coast]

Hover's litter was difficult, each littermate warring for dominance. Their mother looked on, proud of her offspring and their overall fighting spirit. Hover was clearly favored, though did not see such favor as a boon. Hover did not get to freely explore. Instead, they learned how best to win an engagement.

That did not do them much good, for Snow Hearts solidified the safety of their territory by the time Hover reached hunting age. Slated to be a healer like Glide before them, Hover was often bored. They approached Inkling and were reassigned with little fuss. Hover wished they asked to hunt much sooner.

Puppy Training"During the lesson: 🐾Hover did perfectly while he was paired with his best buddy. Things changed when 🐾Glide asked him to work with another pup and step out of his comfort zone."

"During the lesson: Glide 4 had a hard time distinguishing between nearly identical berries. In his opinion it was impossible to make such a decision as quickly as 🐾Glide wanted, but she explained that paying attention to detail was a must for an herbalist."

"During the lesson: 🐾Hover focused on 🐾Glide as she explained how deadly things like hooves could be if he didn't pay attention to them when taking down prey. 🐾Glide had 🐾Hover practice dodging between the legs as he bit the carcass."

"During the lesson: 🐾Sepna led Glide 2 to an unfamiliar place today. She was tasked with finding her way back to the den all on her own with 🐾Sepna watching from afar."

"During the lesson: No matter the weather, a good hunter must be ready for every obstacle. Glide 2 learned how to work in harder conditions, and although it was a bit stressful, she felt proud at the end."

"During the lesson: 💜Stardust [4] asked the class to prepare tiny gifts today for every packmate and practice graciousness even if the gift is rejected. Glide 4 enjoyed getting to know his packmates better through the gift giving."
