Son of Yasutomo who was the leader of a small pack in a forest far from what Yasley now considers home and whom he has named his pack after.
Yasley chose the mountains as his home, he had always loved them. But also because he believed the forest, his home, his birth place had been cursed and therefor all forests should be avoided. He has later relocated to the Tundra.
During his first fall his mother, Arya got ambushed by a bear, eager to make a last meal before hibernation. And soon after in the early days of winter his two sisters fell as well, leaving him as the only youngster with his father and uncle left in the pack.
However during a storm, the uncle got his back broken due a fallen tree and Yasley, although out of view, could still hear Yasutomo break his neck and a short yelp. The sound still haunting him and always will he reckons. Left now was the height of winter and Yasutomo struggled to keep them both fed. Yasley, although struggling to learn the art of hunting was confident he could do it. As much as he tried it rarely resulted in a meal and Yasutomo kept distance from Yasley's noisy "hunting".
One day when winter was going to its end, Yasley noticed his father did not return. And not the next day either. He kept himself fed well enough at this point but still, his father had always returned with more food than Yasley could catch. After days of being alone he left the den area to look for his father. His scent was rather faint, but he could make up the way he had gone. Following the trail he wondered when the scent would get stronger, which it eventually did. But something was not right, Yasley stopped, vary. It was a small opening in the forest ahead and he could see him there. His nose trembling, the scent was not new to him, just stronger now. He knew what it meant.
So he turned around and ran, ran through the entire forest, onto grassland, running until he was all out of energy in the middle of the night. Hungry. Tired. He found an old den he crept into and slept for a while there.
It was not long since then he had found his new home to settle with, were he met his mate, Marvel. A young wolf that had survived his entire pack, now he had a new pack, a new family, in the mountain, which he enjoys so much.
