Yumekui

Yumekui is the Harbinger of All Hallows Eve, thus being the Harbinger of Trickery, Spooks, and Treats. He was fabricated due to all canine fear and desire for treats and to be tricked. Any wolf who dresses up in a costume on the 31st of October is safe, however… Yumekui truly lives up to his namesake. Any wolf that dares to show their face to Yumekui will have their dreams devoured throughout the night. They will endure some of the worst nightmares, though finding themself unable to wake up until the sun reaches its apex. Their body will endure any pain they experience, as will their mind. Many wolves often pass in the night due to the strain on their body. Those who do make it through the night often have their mental crushed, their sanity eradicated from the planes of existence, reduced to nothingness; a breathing, yet lifeless corpse. Unable to comprehend anything or even perform the simplest of tasks. It's almost better to put them out of their misery… And if any wolf does come back with their sanity intact? They'll never live a normal life again, never getting a good night's sleep, as all they'll ever see in their dreams are the same horrid flashes they had on All Hallows Night.

Yumekui is rather grotesque in appearance. He looks as though he is decaying in some portions, more so around his jaw and eyes. It also creeps down his throat and partially down his chest. As he ages, the decay spreads. Even though he is in entirety decaying, he is not dying and he feels no pain. It's almost as if he's shedding. His ribs, although the decay hasn't reached them, are extremely visible through his coat. He appears rather malnourished, even though he is completely healthy. He has long, sharp fangs for teeth, and his eyes are a smokey colour. Their colour is constantly swirling, looking like actual smoke is moving within his irises. Due to his skinny frame and his ever changing body, he is beginning to look more and more like a skeleton with every All Hallows Eve that passes.

The Harbinger of All Hallows Eve

Yumekui is rather chaotic by nature. He is constantly playing tricks on not only all wolf kind, but the Humans and Harbingers alike. He can be seen causing chaos anywhere and everywhere at any given time. He's able to appear and disappear into thin air, or should I say, smoke. His cackle can be heard anywhere at any given point, almost like it's a warning that your time has come. Outside of this, he does have a short temper, but seeing as he never takes anything serious, he never loses his temper. He isn't really interested in any relations, however the Harbinger of Good Times and Giving holds a special place in his heart. He can be found (not so) discreetly leaving her gifts, and she's the one Harbinger he doesn't play any serious jokes on, seeing as he knows what she finds funny and what she doesn't. He never really celebrates any other Harbingers birthdays (Holidays), except for hers. He always remembers to get her a gift, and he always knows what she wants. Due to his rather extreme (to him) fondness for her, he finds himself protective over her and quick to snap if anyone brings her up in a negative manner. In front of her, he can't hold a front and always displays his nicer, more genuine, honest, and kind side. However, the second she's gone, his true horrors are displayed to the world.
