Altair

the first of two

Altair is the eldest between him and his brother Deneb, a fact that Deneb rarely let amiss as they grew together. Despite the age gap being mere minutes, thus making the two boys close as they grew up together, Altair took it upon himself to be the self-proclaimed caretaker of the bunch. This was exacerbated when his mother, Bungay, brought a third addition into their den.

He quickly found himself outmatched between Deneb and the new pup Vega -- their energy levels vastly exceeded his own, the tussles they often got into normally ending in surrender. It didn't help that Altair saw Vega as the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. He looked up to her.

Now an adult, Altair has taken up the role as chaser alongside his denmates. Despite the fact Vega was always faster than him, Altair can't imagine making her work that hard for anything. Once a caretaker, always a caretaker.
