the second of two
It was only minutes after Altair was born that Deneb came into the world, mother Bungay licking him fresh and nestling beside his brother. He remembers that his first thoughts were of the respect he saw for the gray pup beside him, adoring. Though only minutes apart, Deneb gleefully took the role of the younger, more wily pup, despite his inclinations toward peace and stoicism. This fact was only exacerbated when Vega joined the two, finding himself more than happy to entertain her.
Once grown, Deneb settled back into his groove; rarely now does he goof around, though the one to always pull him into it remains his adopted sister. As a pup he had aspired to become the pack's herbalist like his father, byt struggled to study beneath him. Now he finds himself hunting with his siblings, closer than ever.
