Neutral personality - has best interests of the pack at heart - accepting of more unusual wolves - cool with adjusting pack policies - more
Verli was found as a very young pup at the base of the Silver Falcon's hill, along the path that led to the summit. Based on the placement, whoever left her there seemed to have wanted her to be found, but did not wish to be seen themselves.
Those who found her, the Day Eagles hunting team, promptly brought the little pup to the pack's den. The pup wasn't old enough to tell them anything so they issued a message out to the surrounding packs to inquire about a missing pup - however, as anticipated, none of them claimed her.
The pack's leader, White Tiger, returned from a long exploration and was greeted by the hunters and the abandoned pup, and upon this meeting White Tiger got the feeling that this was the pup - the one that should be the next leader. Every leader got this feeling when it came to picking their successor - some regarded it as the Silver Falcon hinting at who has its approval.
White Tiger then decided that the pup was to stay with the pack, and asked around the pack to see if any of its members would be interested in adopting the little one. He eventually came to Embri, who was quite taken by the pup and decided that she could raise one more pup in her old age.
The pup bore a strong resemblance to Charri, Embri's ancestor and previous leader of the pack. Given that the pup's lineage was unknown, it was possible that there was a blood relation there... but that was something that would likely never be confirmed. Embri named the pup Verli and raised her the best she could.
