Essetir was ready to panic as he ran through the beautiful meadow, franticly searching for his lost love. When Hela's had mother had come to the home they had planned to share together he knew something was terribly wrong but before he was able to act she was already moving. She flung her hand at him, calling out in strange language. Blue sparks connected with his skin and he cried out in pain, then everything went black.
He had awoken with a headache, stumbled to his feet, and immediately tried to lurch into a sprint. However, he was still unsteady on his new legs and fell toward the nearby lake. He struggled to his feet and splashed through the cold water. He looked down only to see a long silver snout, fluffy triangle ears, and a wet nose staring back at him. The only thing familiar about his reflection was his olive-green eyes. The cold water seemed to bring everything into focus causing him to straighten up and turn, determined to find his lost family only to bump into a lovely black and silver wolf with sky blue eyes that he would recognize anywhere.
They locked eyes for a long moment before he relaxed and leaned his head down to nuzzle against her neck submissively, seemingly on instinct.
"Hello, my Moon, you are as lovely as ever." He said ready to collapse in his relief at seeing her.
"You're here. I was so worried about you, my Star. I am so sorry for what my mother has done. Can you ever forgive me?" Her eyes were sad and distraught but I knew nothing would ever truly take me from her side because I would always find her. She was my destiny.
"Of course I can, you are my Moon and I am your Star, we will traverse this path together."
