Continuing Erik's somewhat odd obsession with the human myths of winged beings from another realm, he decided to name his adopted daughter Angélique. According to him, Angélique definitely fits the description of an angel: she carries lessons and messages from older wolves to the pups, instructing them in a fair and balanced manner. She weighs every choice with prudence and an empathy for both sides--to the point that some think she's a bit indecisive. Angélique agrees with this opinion and is thankful she isn't a hunter--she worries her general hesitation and overly-cautious consideration of choices would cost her the hunt or the health of her fellow wolf.
