Born on 19 May of 2018, a litter of 7 pups would call their unstable fallen tree den their home for the first month of life. Born in the mountains,Athena would be the runt of their litter. As the puppy grew and took their first walks of life out of the den, they would often be seen playbowing at the first opportunity or play in the dirt. She would meet their full pack, being made up of 8 adults and 4 yearlings. Other than them, there would be 3 other litters.
As Athena grew older, she started to explore further from the den. After idly watching their parents hunt animals such as mule deer calves and elderly mule deer bucks, they would have minimal interest in hunting as well. During this time, the pack would often have wonderful amounts of prey to eat with the pup eating whatever possible, constantly being full.
Despite all this, they would go on their first hunt at 7 months old, being brought along by their pack to hunt. With the day being foggy, the pack expected to have a poor hunt ahead of them. However, the pup would prove themselves during their hunt. Catching a newborn bison calf with a bit of help; there would be no injuries.
For now, she joined the Midnight Angels Pack, serving the pack being a Herbalist.
During the lesson: Athena explained to Golden that with bigger prey, you can wound them in vulnerable areas so that they are easier to take down. Golden mimicked where she bit the carcass near the belly and ankles.
