This wolf has a mutation or secondary mutation that causes blindness! Unfortunately, he can never lead the pack, participate in training, become an apprentice or perform a role. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.
One day when he was still a young pup, he wandered away from his mother into a strange luminous world.
As he traveled further and further wisps slid past him, spores clogged his nostrils, and strange creatures watched him pass. He came across a long tunnel, ears perked forward at the sound of puppies whining. He slowly crept closer.
The further he walked the heavier the fog of spores became. He started to cough and wheeze, his eyes stinging. By the time he found the puppies they looked at him, but he could not see them. All he saw was a faint blue glow, and his feet began to fail him from panic. The glowing figures stepped closer, sniffing him and yipping in curiosity. The pups themselves were lost, and hungry, however they did not realize the damage they had unintentionally caused.
He shook his head and blinked rapidly... But his vision was nothing more than a blur. He stumbled and whined and growled, trying to wake himself up... But he never could. His eyes leaked a luminous blue stream of tears, causing the puppies to bark in surprise. They began nudging either side of him guiding him out.
They wanted to wait for their mother to return... But this pup needed them. He took a deep sniff and he recognized a familiar scent. His mother was frantic with worry. She groomed his fur and checked him over for injuries before realizing his eyes were now glazed over like stones. She broke out in a wailing howl and pulled her puppy closer. Her eyes darted up to the sudden movement of the two Lunar pups.
They hesitantly looked at her and then at her son. They didn't want to leave him like this in his new state of blindness. The mother stated at them for what felt like moons before she finally let them come closer and took them in. The Lunar pups grew much slower than he, by the time he would become old they would just start to become adults.
They continued to guide him, acting like he was their big brother. They played with him and stayed beside him, sometimes when he got fed up he would pick one up by their scruff until they emitted whines of defeat.
Due to his blindness he'd found he can't take care of himself anymore. Sight was one of the most useful assets to a wolf, if not their lifeline alongside hearing. Taking his roll similarly to an elder he developed quite a lazy personality.
