Sun watched as the alpha of the other pack trotted off with his three siblings, and the other three pups that belonged to a young wolf named Bronze Morning Light, though everyone called her Bronze. Sun turned to his mother, Badger, who has sent them off with the other alpha. ` ` Mommy, where are they going? ` ` he asked. Badger gazed down at him fondly and licked the top of her runty pup's head.
"They're going with a wolf who will find them a good home," Badger said. Sun scrambled away, chasing after his siblings, but the alpha of that time - Breeze - pulled him back. 'You stay, Spotted Sunset,' Breeze announced, shooing him off with a flick of the tail. Sun pricked his ears and then scampered off, straight to his pupsitter, T. T nudged him, wagging his tail; Sun was rather lucky, in his opinion, to have such a gleeful, naughty pupsitter. T would always get into trouble, then would be confronted by Breeze. He always got away with it, despite being shamed by the alpha. However it was easy to see Breeze was amused by her packmate's mischief. T would then tell Sun to not do that or Breeze would take away his play for the day; Sun listened to him every time, becoming rather good at staying out of trouble.
Now, Sun simply nudged his way between T's paws and lay down, resting his muzzle on the wolf's tail as he wrapped it over his paws and around the pup.
