As a loner, Windy had a hard time motivating herself to do what was needed to survive and was terrible at learning things like hunting. All she wanted to do was lay around but that wasn't really possible if she wanted to survive. When she ended up on Babbag's territory, she was expecting aggression but was instead met with kindness and a helping paw. Hunting was already figured out in the pack and Windy wouldn't need to learn. She wouldn't just be allowed to lay around all day though, Babbag had a job for her. With all of the running between territories Windy had done, she had gained a skill for it and would make a good scout for testing out territories before Babbag could claim it. Although she still wishes she could sit in the cave all day, Windy prefers her life in the Dirth Pack more than she had her life as a loner. When a new wolf, Dusturn, came who'd also scout the surrounding territories, Windy quickly found herself asking the wolf questions of her time as a loner and the two became almost inseparable.
