Ursa Minor: The Lesser Bear

Ursa Minor was a cub born without a soul. She was slow and silent; much different from her three littermates. Her mother told her that her eyes were just pitch black like black holes. Ursa Minor's condition began to deteriorate upon reaching 1 month old. She stopped nursing, and stopped moving completely. Her breathing was starting to slow down as well. None of the Zodiacs, constellations, or their stars could cure her condition. Her mother, Ursa Major, began to worry about her cub's life.

One day, Ursa Minor stopped breathing. Her mother was quick to react, and star kissed her. This action not only gave Ursa Minor a soul, but transformed her into an immortal being like her mother. Ursa Minor's fur became as vibrant and bright as a galaxy with speckles of shiny white spots of varying sizes that looked like stars. Her eyes looked like swirling star dust with faint, dark pupils in the center that looked like two black holes in the center of their new galaxies.

After this transformation, Ursa Minor went from a quiet and motionless bear cub to an energetic, playful cub. She is now full of life, and brings joy to those wherever she goes. Because of this, her mother adores her and smothers her to the point where Minor is rarely left alone. The longest they've spent away from each other was barely two days, and both mother and cub felt very isolated and upset the whole time. Needless to say, both are very clingy and love each other dearly.
