Biography

Liholiho(King Kamehameha II) was the direct descendant of King Kamehameha I along with his brother, Kauikeaouli(King Kamehameha III). Liholiho was born in 1797. He married Kamāmalu, but they never produced any children, due to a trip they took to London, where Kamāmalu contracted measles, and died. Later, the grief stricken Liholiho died to measles as well in 1824.
