Lore; She stared at the challenge infront of her, eyeing it with complete curiosity. It was an obstacle course, an amazing one at that. Cora smiled, and ran after the rest of her pack. She bumped into one of her packmates, and they yelped.
"Sorry!" Cora paused for a moment before remembering that it was a race, and starting to run with her pack again. She smiled to herself, watching her pack mates fly by as she kept going up in the ranks. Soon she would be in the front, and it would be perfect. Cora would win the challenge, and continue her streak of winning.
The only problem was the red desert colored wolf in front of her. Lodórek. She was his best, and he was hers. Either way, the challenge was a challenge and she would win. She cared, even loved him, but she would win no matter what. Cora would take the lead, and she would win this challenge like she does any other one. She passed Lodórek, smiling as he narrowed his eyes at her.
"Catch ya later, slowpoke!" Cora called back to him, laughing, "Make sure you don't choke on my dust!" She pushed herself harder, the ache in her muscles intensifying as she jumped over a tree that had fallen down.
Cora reached the end, the pups making a crescent shape around her so she knew to stop. She slowed down, digging her back paws into the ground. The dirt grinding up around her nails, and she almost fell onto the pups as she stopped.
"Hey, hey watch out!" Cora yelped, her fur bristling. "Move move move-" She laughed, the puppies dancing around her feet. "You're gonna make me-" She yelped loudly, falling over one of the puppies. She started laughing roughly, coughing pretty soon after. "I'm too tired for this,"
"No you aren't!" One of the puppies jumped on her, and laid on her. "You're perfectly fine!" It made the other puppies laugh until they all laid across the ground with her, cough-laughing. Her packmates walked by her, shaking their heads, smiling.
"You always win!" A young adolescent said.
"It's not fair," Another one laughed.
"You will all survive!" Cora smiled at them, and turned over onto her belly. "You will have a bigger chance next time, and who knows? Maybe you'll win that time. Who really knows?" She chuckled, "Don't get too stressed out about it! You'll just get in your head, and I'll win automatically~"
Cora smiled brighter and brighter the more she joked with her fellow packmates, enjoying their comfort. She loved this part of everything, the spending time together as one big family. Never feeling the pressure of having to be someone or something. Cora could just be Cora, and love her pack the way she loves them. They know her like the back of their hands, the way she wins and teases them all because she loves them.
"Hey, Cora," Lodórek smiled, coming up behind her and scaring the young female wolf.
"HEY-" She screeched, rolling over onto her back. She flipped back over onto her stomach, and looked up at the tall wolf. "You little-"
"Oh shush, you're fine," Lodórek laughed at Cora lightly, "Cmon," He nudged her.
"What do you want, after you just scared the life out of me," Cora mumbled, getting up, "What do you want?" She asked again.
"I want to challenge you, again," Lodórek smiled at her, "What do you say?"
"What's the challenge?" Cora's ears perked up, looking at him, "I'll do it," Her ears here straight up, looking at him with a smile. "C'mon tell me, please please, pretty please~?" She asked nicely.
"See who can gather the most herbs in ten minutes," Lodórek told her, looking her up and down, "Think you can do it?"
"Heck yeah I can do it, why couldn't I?" Cora looked at him like she couldn't believe what he just said, "You're gonna wish you never challenged me to that, and even if you do get close to beating me, you won't," Cora flicked her tail, smiling brightly so he knew that she was kidding.
"Oh, I will, won't I?" Lodórek nodded sarcastically, "Im sure, Im sure, I'll lose, and you'll win like you always do, huh?"
"Damn right I will! I'll always win, forever, and ever," Cora nodded her head enthusiastically, "When do we start?" She wagged her tail back and fourth.
"Whenever your ready, are you sure your ready to take on me, im the master of this sort of thingggg," He snickered.
"You wish you were," Cora laughed with him, "Im the herb master here, you and everyone else knows it. Knows it very well, and knows not to mess with it, or me," Cora ran off, "Im ready!"
"Oh you little," Lodórek started off after her.
