the gentle, submissive, quiet, positive mate of sweetpea, because i'll always be weak for the "sweet, supportive boy is a simp for his fierce, vicious, bloodthirsty girlfriend" trope. there's a lot of delicious drama because sweetpea, as a devotee of herne and a mutineer, is scheming behind her father's back to overthrow him and lead the pack into tyranny and paganism, but chicory looks to vĂolette as his adoptive father and feels a great deal of gratitude and loyalty to the kind wolf for taking him and dĂ©lle in. as it is, he may be dragged in to being a villain of circumstance, torn between devotion to his mate and to her father.
he thinks of dĂ©lle as his little sister and lets her walk all over him â€
all my sweet boy wants is a quiet life where he can lie in the sunny grass and watch the butterflies settle on his fur.Â
