Biography
Willow:
Willow was born in a litter of three as daughter of the hunter Kira. Her father is a wolf from another clan from which she inherited her piebald fur. Hopefully this diffrence will be accepted by her siblings and fellow pack members.
Moonchild was her and her siblings pupsitter and the young wolf didn't make it easy fo him. Nonetheless he was able to train the young wolf Ga'So as his mentor. Willow seemed to take a liking to him and even gave him his name. She planned to later become his partner.
She was trained for strenght and tried to prove her talent early: Willow leapt powerfully at Faoiltiama and went for the thick fur under her neck. Faoiltiama was faster and swatted Willow away, growling that going for the underside of the neck is only for killing, not for play.
When she went hunting for the first time, she said this: According to Willow, today is the best day for success. Whether it's true or not, with this optimistic mindset you're ready for anything.
The love:
It was a sunny day in early spring and the day the young wolf was waiting for. Finally Willow was allowed to hunt and would be considered an adult after her first catch of prey. Although her siblings Maple and Birch were excited too, Willow wasn't happy for the freedom of wandering through the territory. Her fur bristeled with excitement while the lead wolf Faoiltiama began ceremony for the young adolcents becoming an adult and all the Children of the Fire began a beautiful howled song to honor their future role in the pack. Willow felt some sceptical stares on her piebald fur as she heard some murmering that she probably wouldn't be able to catch her first prey as she would be seen by it first. She didn't really think much about those rumors but she heard Maple growling instead. Willow wasn't really close with her siblings, as they thought she was annoying, but they still protected her from bad rumors and enjoyed some snuggling in the cold winter nights too. Those three wouldn't be together forever as the freedom of an adult meant, that they would be around other too, so their first hunt together would probably be a kind of farewell to. They were with a hunting party as adolecents before, but the air of the Decidious Forest truly smelled differently being all alone. The scent of spring led the young wolves fast to their first critter prey, which they followed on excited paws. But Willow had only one young wolf in the head, who she planned to propose too, after becoming an adult. Even as a young pup Willow liked to follow this one adolecent around. She named him after finding the scent of a stranger around him, but as she felt like a stranger herself, Ga'So bacame a positive image for her. She only understood later, what he got through and that she had still a place in the Children of the Fire, but in her head Ga'So became her soul mate. Sadly, the young wolf thought otherwise. He was 7 months older, so Willow was mostly an annoying over-comfortable pup for him, who sneaked out just follow him around. Although slowly, he surely began to enjoy her company as the younger wolf had just love and happiness for him. It seemed like the stressfulness of his past was erased, when the child, who was considered a strange one in her litter herself, was just happy to be around him. In the last month they enjoyed to eat together, so Willow really hoped that Ga'So would accept her love even in a romantic way. The scent of her first heat would help with that as well. Such daydreams nearly let their first prey get away, so her siblings really got angry with Willow. It seemed like the young wolf had to find another hunting party for the future, but she still could only think about the warm spring night, which she wanted to spend with Ga'So. Back at their caves, their first game for the pack with them, the newly appointed hunters were welcomed with the loud howling of happiness. Their pack leader respectfully bowed their head before them and led the young wolves to the cave of the hunters, where they would reside as long they desired to stay in their pack. They all were excited on this great day and some of the former adolecents were even asked to join a specific hunting party, as they had impressed their mentors. Although Willow was happy as well, she wanted to leave the other hunters as fast as she could to find Ga'So. But it was customary that young hunters had to stay away from their old home, the childrens and herbalist cave Sit-Herb, until they were ready to give bith there to a pup of their own. This should ensure, that they would arrive into adulthood without being held back by their younger childhood friends there, they only could play with them away from their nests. This shouldn't keep Willow from meeting Ga'So, but the older wolf had to take care of a young litter of pups at Sit-Herb and was therefore unable to leave. Willow still would it make work after all...
The night was clear and the star shimmered beautiful in the spring sky, so the young huntress decided to sleep outside tonight as she couldn't really sleep in the new cave. Only after being left in another place, she realized how much she missed the scent of Ga'So and the younger pups at the Sit-Herb and the loneliness grew inside her heart. She curled herself together and stared with wishful eyes in the sky, where the fire of the stars seemed to glow just like another wolf. Only then she suddenly noticed a familiar nose embedded in her neck fur. "Ga'So? You came?", she whispered quietly without trusting her faint hope completly until the wolf answered her. "Of course, little one. I promised you, didn't I? Congratulations on catching your first prey and becoming an adult.", he said with an uncommon gleefulness. Her ears instantly rised as she jumped up and locked her paws on him like a young pup, asking to play. "I don't think thats how a young adult should behave", he commented earnestly, but she only groomed his fur affectionately. "Oh, shut up, my cute friend. You came to me only to nag me? I'm an adult now, so I decide how I want to spend my time. And I'll spend my time for my happiness", she laughed and only stopped grooming him, when he lay down with her. After being quite for a while and simply staring at the fires in the night sky, she suddenly found the courage to ask: "Therefore, for my happiness, would you consider staying with me? I know this place is far away from your family and you planned to leave after becoming an adult, but I promise you that we could create a home together." It was the first time that there was some kind of uncertainity mixed in with the affection, Ga'So recognized. He really couldn't understand how this young wolf was so affectionate and it annoyed him more than once, but perhaps that made her so adorable. "Little one, no Willow, so you really became an adult, huh?", he murmured to himself after recognizing the scent of her heat. "I don't know what you mean, Willow. The Children of the Fire are my home now, thanks to an annoying little wolf cub, who didn't let me alone. So we don't have to create a home for ourselves and also no family. You don't create family, you find it. And I found my family in you and will stay here or wherever you plan to go in the future."
