Breac was born to Alpha Nera, and the only of her offspring to be chosen to remain within The Coterie. He was never meant to take on his mother's rank and when he became an adult, Alpha Nera placed him as a Pupsitter. He felt content with this for a while, it was fun and gave him plenty of time to chat with them and his pack. However, it soon became clear that Breac had skills that would be better placed elsewhere. When the Pack's best Finisher, Merlin, passed away from old age, Breac was approached by his mother and asked to fill out his position within the hunting group. The honour was a great one, and Breac dedicated himself to bringing pride to his mother's eyes.
His mother's passing was a difficult period of time for Breac, he became ill with mange from the stress. The new Alpha, Vexāre, reminded him of his mother's pride and trust in him and this gave Breac a string to pull himself out of his depression. In present day, Breac dedicates himself to his position as Chaser. This dedication swayed the Alpha's heart and they declared their relationship mid-autumn of Vexāre's 2nd year as Alpha. This ensured Nera's bloodline remained entangled with the Alpha rank also.
