During the lesson: Little Skarn was dropped on a very crackly underbrush with a lot of pebbles today. The challenge was to make the least amount of sound possible and get to Hydrangea in less than five minutes, otherwise they had to start over. It was a very cronchy day.
During the lesson: Lyle showed Little Skarn that every time they take a herb from nature, they must put a small piece of it back into the earth. This is so the herb can sprout again and continue to provide what the pack needs.
During the lesson: Zephyr had a feather attached to the end of his tail, and raced through a clearing with Little Skarn close behind. She couldn't quite catch him yet, but she got close enough to feel the feather tickle her nose before Zephyr pulled farther ahead.
During the lesson: Little Skarn caught sight of a bushy gray tail darting under a bush and acted quickly under Lou's watchful gaze. She only managed to catch a clump of gray fur from the squirrel, but her speed was improving!
During the lesson: Not only was the nesting material important, but the right spot and the right time matter, too. Little Skarn learned how to choose wisely and save a lot of time.
During the lesson: To Little Skarn's surprise, Shiro found her quite quickly today. Little Skarn was reminded to mind her tail while hiding, because energetic wagging can be easily heard and seen.
