Wolves have believed that Lava is the reincarnation of the Goddess Of Disaster, who at the time was evil and destructive. She has been reborn to be good instead and use her powers to protect wolves and other wildlife alike from evil humans.


Puma knew her time on Earth is almost done and she needs a succesor. She remember the rules Amber told her and she knows a special young she-wolf.
She approached the unusual young winged wolf, Lava and asked her to walk with her.
Puma told her that she needs a heir and she chosen her. She also told her the rules the previous Alpha told her.
Lava was perplexed and shocked. She asked if she can take the time to think things through. Puma agrees.
That night she watched her beloved mate, Mackerel playing with their son, Blair they adopted. She knew she was infertile and it was impossible to have pups unless some interference, in which she did. Her pups went on to become adopted in other packs. Though she miss them, she loved her present family even more.
Mackerel paused and layed his stunning blue eyes on her. He told Blair to go to sleep and walked up to Lava touching his nose to her check. "What's bothering you, love?" He asked softly.
They went on a walk and she told him what the Alpha had said. He was happy for her and told her that it's a great opportunity and something to not pass up.
She then talk to Puma and told her she agree on her offer.
The next morning Puma announced to the pack that she chosen the next Alpha, Lava and her future Beta, Mackerel.
Lava is excited to see you and says she's been waiting for you to come for your play date together. What? You don't remember discussing that, but you are touched to be included.
