Bellum loves to start wars, so there might be a war soon and wolves may die off quite quickly.

A war that will forever be known as Wolves War I (I couldn't think of anything so why the hell not) has been declared by a neighboring pack named Crimson Thunder. They are a vigorous pack that wants all the strength they can get. Starbound doesn't want to get into the middle of it, but he doesn't have a choice. Their Alpha, Blood's Arrow, attacks one of Moon Soul's allied packs and Starbound has to protect the others.
Many wolves were lost in this tragic war, including all but one of Stargazer and Loxley's children. Starchaser survives within an inch of her life, but Sage, the new healer, gets help to bring the poor Beta's daughter to her healing den and heals her the best she can with what she had. (most of her stock was burned and everything around them was burned as well)
The young hunters are all that's left for their role and they need to get better, because winter is coming and they will be out of food in days to come if they can't get their hunts up.
