Biography
Xüdie-Meng (孟栩蝶, pronounced: mèng xǔdié) was born to two outsiders. She had the same blue-green eyes as her mother, who had only joined the House after spending most of her life wandering. And although mothers were never pressured to reveal the father of their pups, Xüdie knew he wasn't part of the pack -- she'd spent her puppyhood meeting every adult wolf, and none of them felt right.
She refused to let this stop her. She had a way with other wolves, and by the time Nymę sent her on her first real hunts, she was the wolf. She knew her packmates' ambitions, knew the sordid tale of Kijelo and Xkiran's exile, knew the gossip the wandering wolves carried.
She knew everyone in the pack, and everyone knew her. No one questioned whether she belonged.
