Name: Latinized form of Greek Κλυταιμήστρα (Klytaimestra), in which the first element is κλυτός (klytos) meaning "famous, noble". Klytaimestra would suggest a connection to μήδομαι (medomai) meaning "to plan, to intend". Klytaimestra appears in the works of the Greek tragedians such as Aeschylus

The foreboding future the elders had been worrying about that came to pass with Empress Lachesia did not end there.
