Name:
Latinized form of Greek Κλυταιμήστρα (Klytaimestra), in which the first element is κλυτός (klytos) meaning "famous, noble". Klytaimestra would suggest a connection to μήδομαι (medomai) meaning "to plan, to intend". Klytaimestra appears in the works of the Greek tragedians such as Aeschylus
The foreboding future the elders had been worrying about that came to pass with Empress Lachesia did not end there. Would they have known what was to come with her daughter their muttering would have immediately turned into action. Did the Catalysms that devastated the wolvendom affect what was to come? Possibly, as Klytaimestra was born with red horns on her forehead. Did Empress Lachesia raising an heir according to her ways impact the future? Probably. You can only choose how to act in the immediate moment. And there was nothing anyone could do anymore.
Drown in your sorrow and fears
Choke on your blood and your tears
Bleed til you've run out of years
We must do what it takes to survive
Give up your honor and faith
Live up your life as a wraith
Die in the blood where you bathe
We must do what it takes to survive
