A strange wolf appears at the border of your territory. They ask for shelter for a little while, stating they are not a threat. This wolf carries many scents on its pelt and has clearly travelled far to be here.
"I am a wolf travelling far and wide for potential alliances for my home pack. I originate from the Ghost Hunters pack. They live within the mountains."
The wolf pauses for a moment, eyeing you carefully. "Perhaps the gifting cave has a pup for you?" They inquire, tilting their head as if in thought. You've not heard of this Gifting Cave. Perhaps the pack this wolf hails from holds the answer?

Mystivale Valley: "One time," the wolf called The Traveller recollected, "I visited a pack called Mystivale Valley.
"I was accepted into the pack by their 'lead', a wolf I know as Kintaro. He asked how I was and if I needed anything. I said no, as I was well rested and full. With that said he trotted away, seemingly busy. I wondered where he was going, but didn't dare to ask as that would be rather rude.
"It wasn't long before some females greeted me very warmly and I wondered if they were perhaps trying to flirt with me. I saw how some of them had pups that looked like the lead, and I got some ideas. But it was strange--how disloyal the young females seemed... Nevertheless, I had a good time listening to their chats and joining in. We discussed naive pups' antics and the elders of one's original pack. It was a pleasant conversation. We were all a bit annoyed with the pregnant hunter, however. She would sneak around in the bushes near our area, make noises, and do other mischievous deeds.
The next day, I gave the lead an unexpected gift of an agouti carcass. He seemed rather surprised, but I forced him to accept the gift. And the pack accepted another vistor, by the name of Alpine. I wanted to talk to him, but I decided not to. He seemed very nervous and leary, but also suspicious... Later on, something about the lead's words when discussing something with the pack sparked something in me, literally and the rain started falling. I seemed to have suddenly gained glowing claws from the odd blue rain now falling.
Did anyone else see it? Or was it just me? Was this all an hallucination? Maybe...
I rather enjoyed my visit here. Although some of the young, inexperienced lead's decisions were quite questionable, I found myself smiling and enjoying seeing the pack flow in harmony. And boy, they sure had quite the young generation growing up too---it seemed like there were twice as many pups as adults! Nevertheless, I loved seeing them smile,
play, and grow. And I'll even admit I shed a few tears as a few of them died. The whole pack's teamwork was quite admirable, too. I would love to visit them again, years later maybe, if they'd have me. But for now---with the butterfly wing they gave me in paw---I think I'll head back on the road again and see what the day brings...
