Biography
3rd ever mcm3 novus, child of Icadyptes and Piranga.

Quick, clever. Not much of a feeder-bird, but a cardinalid all the same.
Why do you sing, desert-child? Why do you jerk your head up, ever-cautious?
Your cousins are bright, and your cousins are bold, and your cousins are numerous. And yet...
It is that very desert-child nature that calls you away from where you can be seen. You are not one for thick, dense forests, for populated yards and loud cities. No, you much prefer sparser, scrubbier terrain.
Perhaps that is why you find comfort, in the tundra. It may be cold, but your fur is warm in this life- you are acclimated well to this chill, and the sparseness welcomes you.
Of course, you are amiable. You are kind. Perhaps you are even loud, happy to chirp and sing and run as fast as your legs can carry you.
You know, don't you?
You know that your kin will wander far from here. You know many will never return. And yet, they must go. They must reach.
You will be waiting for them, in some skin or another.
Perhaps you are more like your mother than they think.
