During the lesson: After learning the basics in a familiar area, Onyx took Moolek MATE to train outside the den for a new, exciting challenge. Moolek MATE had to ambush Onyx using all the knowledge gathered so far and see how different it is in an unfamiliar area.

During the lesson: Moolek MATE leapt powerfully at Onyx and went for the thick fur under his neck. Onyx was faster and swatted Moolek MATE away, growling that going for the underside of the neck is only for killing, not for play.

During the lesson: Guizhong learned a camouflage technique today - rolling in mud, dirt and herbivore poop distracted Onyx enough to steal the toy from under his paws! Onyx congratulated her on her cleverness.

During the lesson: Onyx conducted a practical lesson about controlling emotions. Borealis NEEDS MATE's skills were greatly improving but he easily lost his temper during the play.

During the lesson: Borealis waited out of sight under a bush until GIVE LUCKY walked by without noticing them. Just as Onyx demonstrated, Borealis jumped from the bush and tackled GIVE LUCKY to the ground successfully.

During the lesson: GIVE LUCKY began tussling with a littermate, and clamped down hard with her teeth on the littermate's tail. The littermate let out a cry, and Onyx trotted over and explained that while teeth can be used, they must be used gently and without any force.

During the lesson: Onyxen suffered the consequences of his own idea for jaw muscle training. For about half of the class, Cheetah Gurl pulled on his tail as they couldn't find any good branches to practice on.

During the lesson: Dessert Storm jumped out in front of Onyxen, distracting him while Cheetah Gurl jumped on top of Onyxen's back and grabbed his scruff. They both showed perfect technique like Onyxen taught them!

During the lesson: Onyxen led Mahogany to an unfamiliar place today. She was tasked with finding her way back to the den all on her own with Onyxen watching from afar.
