Pup Experiences
The mentor demanded a hundred laps around the den today. It was meant to build "maximal oxygen uptake" and some other complex adult stuff any pup would be way too tired to understand.

Grappler stalked the birds in silence. Focused and alert, he felt he was improving fast and told Mentor it was his favorite lesson.

The mentor taught the class about wind direction and scents that can reveal your position if the threat is downwind. Turns out Grappler is the best at hiding if he just rolls in the dirt first!

Grappler prepared for a magnificent howl, a sound that would make every animal recognize true power. Instead, he let out something between a whine and a squeak.

Mentor managed to hide the toy so well that Grappler had trouble picking up its scent, and it took some time to dig the toy out. Grappler didn't give up easily and worked until the task was complete.

Grappler was reminded to work on his attention span. While his physical condition was perfect, Grappler needed to fight the urge to use every opportunity to play.

Grappler had a hard time distinguishing between nearly identical berries. In his opinion, it was impossible to make such a decision as quickly as Mentor wanted, but she explained that paying attention to detail was a must for an herbalist.
