Kiche's Heir
Original Heir Line Generation 2
White Fang's lore/history according to Jack London's White Fang (1906):
White Fang was born to Kiche (mother) and One-Eye (father) in a cave during the winter of the Canadian Yukon. He was the sole classic grey wolf brother to four sisters, who resembled their mother with their red-undercoated grey fur. Even as a tiny pup, he was clearly the strongest of the litter, and was powerfully drawn to the light of the outside world.
Typically, White Fang's father, One-Eye, hunted for Kiche and her litter, and he did a good job of it. Unfortunately, hunting became scarce, and One-Eye was forced to take on more dangerous prey. One-Eye stopped bringing food back to the den after he fights the local lynx and is killed. White Fang did not understand why the food has stopped arriving, but he, and his sisters, and Kiche were all hungry.
Kiche eventually realized her mate was not returning, and left her pups alone to hunt. More often then not, she returned empty-pawed in the harsh famine. All four of White Fang's sisters perished due to starvation. The winter dragged on.
As a young pup, now alone and unguarded while Kiche hunted, he became very curious of the outside world, and spent much time adventuring. A ptarmigan chick falls prey to him, and it's mother attacks him viciously; a hawk dives from the sky and almost carries him away; he falls into a icy cold stream, and was almost washed away, but when he finally pulled himself out, he is attacked violently by a weasel, which nearly kills him. Kiche comes running to save her son and kills the weasel, which they then eat together.
White Fang continues to explore the world while Kiche hunts, performing daring puppy acts, like taunting the hawk to dive at him so he can attempt an attack. One day, Kiche returns with lynx kittens, and they feast. The mother lynx was not forgiving, and tracked Kiche back to the den. Kiche and the mother lynx fought, and White Fang, still only a pup, leaped into the fight and sank his fangs deep into the lynx several times. After a while, the two wolves slay the lynx, and eat her while they recover, both bearing serious wounds from the lynx's claws.
Later, White Fang adventures into a Native American village, and is picked up by a couple men. The little wolf snarls in protest, making a fuss loud enough for Kiche to hear. His mother rushes to his aid but halts when she seems the men.
"Kiche!" They say, and she bows down obediently, for she had been raised by this very Tribe of Native Americans, before she ran away from them during a famine.
The pup could not understand why his mother did not rescue him and snarled at the men. They laughed at his tiny white fangs and promptly named him "White Fang".
They took him back to their village to live among the rest of the tribe and the tribe's dogs. The men began to train him to pull goods with a sled team of dogs. They made White Fang their lead of the team, and the other dogs hated him for it. They bullied White Fang, jealous of him for being favorited. One puppy in particular, called Lip-Lip, was particularly mean to White Fang, and would attack him. White Fang had to use his wits.
He raced for the safety for his mother, and she flipped Lip-Lip upside down and snarled at him so harshly that he left White Fang alone for the next several days. While he trained as a pulling dog, he wanted to turn around and fight the dogs trying to catch up to him in order to attack him, but a whip in his face kept him from turning to face his opponents, forcing him to move forwards. Since there were dogs chasing him, his drove him to run faster and faster until they were the fastest team.
White Fang missed the forest, and often tried to sneak away, but his mother would never follow, and so he always returned to be with her. The unforgettable day when Kiche was sold to another man caught White Fang off guard. His mother was loaded into a canoe and paddled away. White Fang tried to follow but he was beaten for the disobedience until he couldn't follow her, and so he howled in despair, but it was no use. She was gone. White Fang was on his own, with a growing attachment to his man master, Grey Beaver.
Without his mother's protection, the dogs violent and frequency terrorizing him intensified, and he could only escape by running into the woods or killing his attackers. His only ally was his master, Grey Beaver, for the dogs hated him, and the other men for him killing their dogs.
White Fang became very powerful and extremely vicious, regularly killing dogs, when Grey Beaver takes him on a trip to Fort Yukon in the sumer of 1898. There, he terrorizes the local dogs, making sport of killing them. An ugly man, called Beauty Smith, notices White Fang around the town and much enjoyed watching him kill other dogs, encouraging him to do so even. Beauty Smith tries to persuade Grey Beaver to sell White Fang to him, but Grey Beaver refuses.
Beauty Smith tricks Grey Beaver over a long length of time, and Grey Beaver ends up with an addicted to spirits and very broke. He sells White Fang to Beauty Smith for painfully cheap as a result of Beauty Smith's cunning. The cruel man takes White Fang and chains him in a cage. When White Fang is released from the cage, it is only to be face to face with another angry dog. He kills the dog.
White Fang had found himself in an illegal dog fighting ring, forced to kill or be killed. He killed every opponent set to face him. Beauty Smith became rich off White Fang's misery, continuing to show him the utmost cruelties. Finally, a new breed of dog was set to face White Fang. A bulldog. The bulldog was too short and stout, and White Fang could not flip him. The bulldog latched onto White Fang's throat and held. Beauty Smith screamed at White Fang to get up, but he was dying.
Two men forced themselves into the ring and used a revolver to pry open the jaws of the bulldog. They saved White Fang, and took him home, introducing him to a life of kindness he had never known before. After months of rehabilitation, White Fang settles into a comfortable life where he is truly happy.

Continued lore for the sake of Eclipse Keepers:
It was a solar eclipse when Kiche arrived with a pack of wolves, coming back for White Fang. Though White Fang was happy with his new life, he couldn't deny he always wanted to go back to the wild. He followed Kiche and her new pack, and she named him the Heir of Eclipse Keepers.
