This wolf is actively pupsitting - his energy regeneration is paused. This wolf has not rolled over today and will not be able to be traded or gifted until its next rollover.
Rust sat next to Moon Blinked with a heavy sigh. He often found himself complaining to this wolf about a lot of things, sometimes pausing as Moon Blinked's endless curiosity caught his attention numerous times, but he apologized.
Moon Blinked assured him that things aren't always going to be so rough.
Rust huffed. "But you're blind you have someone there to help you more willingly, and you're not the Lead Wolf's first son! I can hardly keep up with mom, and I was relegated to Pupsitter because I'm not good enough for hunting.
Moon suddenly unleashed a growl. "Your father didn't give you that role out of maliciousness. He saw you struggled and instead gave you a job that is still important to the pack without humiliating you as wolves pass you by." Moon looked in his general direction based on where he heard him talking.
"He loves you and cares, would you rather he had thrown you into a pack of powerful hunters that will leave you in the dust?"
"No..." Rust flattened his ears.
"Just because you're his first son doesn't mean all the pressure is on you or that your job makes you any less important," Moon stood up and sniffed out his location. Suddenly his cold nose poked Rust in the neck. "You're as valuable as any pack member."
Rust looked at him, and sighed. "You're right...
"Of COURSE I'm right" Moon laughed. He licked Rust's ear (and half missed), and yawned. "You'll prove yourself as a dutiful pupsitter in time."
Moon seemed thoughtful for a moment.
"What" Rust pressed.
"Nothing... I just wish to have a puppy of my own someday, even if I have to adopt." He pressed a little closer to Rust's neck.
Rust was somewhat shocked, but he wasn't upset.
Moon was indirectly asking if he'd be his mate.
